Ask Webly Anything: July 2025 Q&A
July’s Ask Webly Anything comes from several conversations I’ve had with women in my audience who are feeling stuck.
The theme?
Procrastination and the never-ending delay in getting an offer out into the world.
I see it all the time, and I’ve been there myself.
We have amazing ideas.
We have dreams of serving clients and creating income.
And yet… weeks, months, even years go by before anything launches.
So let’s dive into a few questions I’ve been asked recently.
Q: Why does it take me so long to launch?
Because you’re underestimating how much time it actually takes to get a launch ready.
Here’s the thing: launching an offer isn’t just about the offer.
It’s the sales page, the emails, the graphics, the calendar, the tech… and the mental energy to pull it all together.
Many people start late because they think:
“I’ll knock this out in a week.”
Then life happens. Tech slows you down. Decision fatigue sets in.
Suddenly, three months have gone by.
Webly’s Tip:
Start earlier than you think and give yourself real deadlines.
Commit to spending 2 to 3 hours every day on your offer.
Map out the steps, and treat them like non-negotiable appointments in your calendar.
Q: I keep changing my offer. Is that a bad thing?
It depends. Are you refining it because of real feedback or because of fear?
What I see most often is entrepreneurs complicating their offer with:
“One more module”
“One more bonus”
“One more price change”
Here’s the truth: constant changes are usually a form of procrastination disguised as productivity.
We tell ourselves we’re “making it better,” but in reality, we’re avoiding the moment we have to hit publish and let people respond.
Webly’s Tip:
Commit to your first version. Launch it. Gather feedback from real people.
You can’t improve what doesn’t exist.
Q: What if I launch and fail?
Here’s a hard truth:
Not launching is the only guaranteed failure.
The fear of failing can keep you stuck for months or years.
But failure (if it even happens) is simply information you can use to improve your next launch.
When I work with clients, I remind them:
“We can’t fix what doesn’t exist. The market can’t respond to an idea locked in your head.”
Launching, even imperfectly, is how you learn what to tweak, adjust, and amplify next time.
Webly’s Tip:
Treat your first launch as a test. A data-gathering experiment.
Your courage will always teach you more than endless preparation ever could.
Final Thoughts
Procrastination is sneaky.
It disguises itself as planning, perfecting, and preparing.
But every week you delay, you’re also delaying the clients you could be helping, and the lessons you need to grow.
If you’re reading this and nodding along, take this as your nudge:
Pick a launch date.
Commit to it.
And let your idea breathe outside of your head.
You’ll learn more from launching and adjusting than you ever will from waiting and wondering.
