VA vs Funnel Expert: What You Actually Need to Launch Your Offer
Somewhere along the line, “Just hire a VA” became the go-to advice for entrepreneurs feeling stuck.
You’ve probably heard it too.
Overwhelmed with tech? Get a VA.
Need to launch a funnel? Get a VA.
Can’t figure out what’s going on in your backend? You guessed it—get a VA.
But here’s what no one tells you:
Most VAs aren’t trained to build systems.
They’re trained to follow them.
Let’s Talk About What a VA Actually Does
Most virtual assistants are brilliant at what they do—managing calendars, handling support tickets, publishing blog posts, and updating systems you’ve already built. Here’s a great breakdown of what a virtual assistant does, if you’re not familiar.
But most of the time, when hiring a VA to “set up your funnel,” you’re not hiring a strategist.
You’re hiring someone who’s hoping you know what you want done. And you’re hoping they can figure out how to make it happen.
It’s a lose-lose setup.
You’re both trying to build something on half a blueprint.
What I See Happen Over and Over Again
I’ve worked with clients trying to model someone else’s funnel they saw online—sending VAs screenshots, trying to mimic the layout, the automation, and even the copy.
And I get it.
When you’re DIY-ing and duct-taping, copying someone else seems like a shortcut.
But here’s what that funnel doesn’t show you:
How big their list is
How much traffic they’re driving
What kind of content and offers led up to this one
Or whether that funnel is actually converting at all
So when your VA builds a funnel based on someone else’s version of success, it’s like stitching together a dress without knowing your own measurements.
It might look fine from the outside, but it won’t fit you—or your audience.
What You Actually Need
In my experience, the clients who finally launch, the ones who stop spinning in circles—aren’t the ones who hired the most “tech-savvy” VA.
They’re the ones who took a step back and asked:
What kind of funnel makes sense for where I am right now?
What am I really offering, and does my messaging reflect that?
Is there a simpler way to do this that I’m just not seeing?
And when they’re ready to figure that out, that’s where I come in.
I created the Funnel Rescue Package to help entrepreneurs like you stop trying to duct tape your way to a launch and start building something with intention.
No copying. No guessing. No hoping someone else’s funnel fits your business model.
Just clarity, strategy, and implementation that aligns with where you are and where you’re going.
